The Ritter Family

Missy, model in the making...

Missy is a 19 yr old from Vacaville. We had such an adventure taking these photo's. I really wanted to try out some new locations around the Bay Area, and she was up for anything. We started in a beautiful woodsy area in the Oakland Hills, however I struggled with avoiding blotches of light through the trees. I was really hoping for an overcast day day because, the redwoods fill with a wonderful fog. Next we tried some rolling hills that looked great from afar, but, up close were actually filled with prickly weeds that were impossible to sit on. So we took some standing and then moved on to the biggest adventure of all. I had passed this little hidden creek, that is alongside a major road I took to work everyday for a year. I always thought it would be an awesome location for a portrait session. The only problem with the lo cation was how would we get over the cement wall and climb down the slippery rocks with all my equipment while speeding cars brushed us a 45 miles per hour?? l

Apologies

I want to apologize for not blogging in a while. It seems that I haven't quit got the hang of working from home. The interruptions come by the minute, and it is apparent that I cannot multi-task. I am trying to find a balance though. I am looking for daycare for my youngest. I do not enjoy telling my child things like " I need you out my room" or " Leave mommy alone" all day. I would love to find a trade 2 days a week. If another mom in the Castro Valley area is looking for something similar, give me a shout. It's funny that I get most of my writing done at McDonald's play land. I have also been sick all week, however, I did feel well enough to make my very first cherry pie from scratch. I am so proud of myself. I will be making it up though, with some extra posts!
