I have had the remarkable joy of capturing Bentley's life from the womb. He is now 6 months and couldn't be cuter. It is a challenge doing baby pictures. I always end up making some sort of fool out of myself in front of the moms. lol. I thought I would go over a few things for moms thinking of doing this type of session. Here are some pointers for making your session easy. Don't fuss over clothes, you will find the portraits you love the most are the ones that are simple and uncomplicated. Nothing is cuter than a naked baby. Schedule your session after a nap for those happy shots. A good photographer will be flexible about breaks, in fact we prefer it. We want your baby to be happy and comfortable. If you want to have those great straight into the camera shots, try to resist the temptation to call your babies name and try to try and make them laugh, unless the photographer asks you too. The Stonerock's family portraits were taken on location in a natural light setting (my fave!). Sarah and I went to High School together, back then she was just as stunning, Harry is her first child and such a character! As a mom I get so much joy watching first time parents. After I took these photos I thought to myself, wow this family could be models for a clothing line. So I decided to post some to my blog as clothing campaigns, just for fun.
