Cherry Bazaar Photography

This is Mathew and Madeline, they were the contest winners for my Etsy contest featuring hats by Bethany's 5. The shoot was quite an adventure, I have never shot twins before so it was good experience. There mother and I took turns feeding and trying to put them to sleep. We would get one happy then the other would start crying. It was rather comical. Mathew kept making rasberries the entire shoot, it was so funny. Madeline was just straight faced, I think she was in a zone from being over tired. In the end we finally got them both happy again after a nice stroll down my block. Here are my favorites from the shoot.

The pin up event was a success. What a relief. Whew. I was so nervous when my hair and make up person backed out 3 weeks before the event but thank goodness I found another amazing style team just in time. Lianna Moore of N V US Looks in Castro Valley did an amazing job getting all the girls camera ready in a half hour. Arianna Tavares my make up artist trained by Mac pulled off that classic pin up look flawlessly. You can find her at http://ariannamariemakeup.weebly.com/index.html. Lianna who is a drag queen at heart contributed some really awesome props, that totally took the girls back in time. I wanted the experience to really be pampering and fun. I gave each girl a glass of champagne to sip as they were getting dolled up. There was classic 40's music in the background to really set the tone. I had a lot of fun working with my clients and figuring out the right posing that would be true to the genre and flattering to each individual girl. Here are some of my favorites. Just
